What instruments and/or styles do you teach?

I teach electric and acoustic guitar, voice, bass, and uke in all styles except classical. Who wants to hear a classical uke anyway? Or maybe it’s what we’ve all been missing.

What can I expect to learn from lessons with Django?

I strive to follow the student’s interests and to guide them in gaining a strong foundation in theory, while making sure that they’re seeing how it can help in everyday music situations. I love introducing students to music they may have never heard or played, and am constantly learning about new artists from my students. More than anything, I want to help people gain confidence in themselves in their musical journey and to open up new possibilities to them, regardless of level. Music can be such a gift in our lives; why not make some?

Where are lessons held? How long? How often? How do I pay?

Lessons are held weekly, either for an hour or half-hour. Students pay for each month’s tuition on the first lesson of that month. I prefer Venmo or PayPal, but cash or check is also accepted.

How do I get started?

The first thing to do is to drop me a line (below) and let me know what you’re interested in. Then we can try to find a workable time for you to get going!
